Tomorrow is a big day for America; it’s Election Day, and we find out if we will have the same President for four more years or if a new one will step in. It’s also a big day for American’s because we get to decide what happens next. Do we accept our new President with open arms and prayer, or do we start riots, fights, and create disasters all over America?
I saw this meme I loved today. It said, “You know what I’m going to do the day after Election Day if my candidate loses? Go to work. Be happy. Live my life. Love others. If he wins? Same.” I had to read it several times because it hit me hard. No matter who wins the election tomorrow, it won’t change who we are and what we are called to do; to love others, to help our fellow neighbors, and to be Christ-like in every area of our life. Jesus would not boast, talk down to others, or start riots in the cities. He loves everyone, including the Presidential candidate that you don’t.
Don’t forget this story has already been written. We know what happens in the end and who is the ultimate winner. Don’t let this election change your attitude and your testimony. No matter who wins tomorrow, God is still in control.
Start tonight with a prayer for our future President and America!
Much love,
Chelsea
